On Saturday 8th March the men played a winter medal competition in glorious weather, particularly considering it is the beginning of March. There were 44 entries and the winners, in two Divisions, are as follows:
Division 1
1st - R. Stratford - Nett 69 - £40 on account
2nd - J. O’Callaghan - Nett 70 b9-31 - £28 on account
3rd - D. Fuller - Nett 70 b9-36 - £20 on account
Division 2
1st - M. Saveal - Nett 64 - £40 on account
2nd - S. Olley - Nett 70 - £28 on account
3rd - C. Dunster - Nett 72 - £20 on account
There were six twos, each receiving £7.25 on their pro shop account: J. O’Callaghan, D. Fuller, J. Victory, L. Davey, J. Hutson and I. Arding.
Next Saturday is the Captain v Vice Captain’s competition. There is an entry sheet on the comps and handicap board outside the men’s changing room. Members who enter will be drawn into a team and paired accordingly. The draw will be done by the close of play on Thursday.
