Football wise this weekend, yet another shocking result for my United team who haven't scored for 3 games now! Sooner they stop playing Rooney as the no 9 the better! Disappointing result for Town on Friday against promotion rivals Cheltenham. Another loss for Chelsea to put even more pressure on Jose and his team. Rugby wise and a well-deserved win for New Zealand in the final.





Saturday saw a non-qualifying Stableford due to the bunkers being GUR due to the amount of rain we have had recently.

Competition wise we are now moving into the winter programme of events, we have printed a list of dates which takes us through to the end of March, they are in the shop so just come and help yourself.

Saturday 7th November is a Medal Qualifier but this will depend on state of the bunkers as to the medal being a qualifier or not.

The office have asked us to let everyone know that the winter warmer green fee offer is in operation now and this includes a round of golf plus fish and chips for just £18.00, and excludes Saturday.





In the shop we are a bit upside down at the moment due to work being done on the shop, the slat walling should be completed by middle of this week and then work starts on the suspending ceiling and new lights so be patient with us as the end result will make the shop look far better.

In the New Year we will also be starting work on the indoor studio where the indoor net will be transformed with new a new net, projector and much more, which will enable us to give you the best fitting experience possible.

New in store is the new TaylorMade M1 driver, I have been using one of these myself for the last few weeks and it is a great piece of equipment! Also we have the new Titleist 716 AP1 & AP2 Demo Irons with the CB & MB heads arriving any day now.
