Hi everyone Alex providing the spiel for this week.
Saturday saw the July Monthly Medal take place. Division 1 saw Ash Cox win with a nett 70 beating Rob Butler who also had a nett 70 on exact handicap. Division 2 saw Richard Lightowler win with a nett 70 over Shaun Cook with a net 71. Division 3 saw Jason Render win with a nett 66 over Michael Hoyle with a nett 68. Lowest gross went to Matt Helstern with a 75.
Monday's finish for the Open saw a number of players in contention right up till the end of the day where Zach Johnson pipped Louis Oosthuizen and Marc Leishmaniare still in contention so should be great viewing plus with the weather is forecast high winds and some rain so should be interesting to see how the best in the world cope with the tough conditions. Cricket wise England took a bit of a beating so I expect a few new faces to come into the team before the next match starts. Football news and as a Man United fan I am happy with the transfers we have brought in so far, few more players and think we might be pushing City, Chelsea and Arsenal next year for the title! Or so I hope!
Shop wise we are still busy on both club fitting and also lesson fronts, helped by the better weather of course!!
Please click the link to book a club fitting, £25 for a 40 minute session, or for the summer lesson pack of 7 lessons for £100.
