Run off our feet!
With Darryl off this week enjoying a well earned 6 day break, I have no doubt I will be having a busy week fitting early morning and late evening coaching duties in, whilst fulfilling shop and admin duties in between! Last week saw us both run off our feet as golf continues an upsurge in activity, and Darryl, in particular, has had such a full lesson and fitting diary. Lead times for both are around 3 weeks currently, so if you need any of the fitting or lesson services on offer get booked in quick! |
Late-Season SALE
Clothing-wise, I am having a late-season sale on Men's and Ladies clothing with 25% off any item in stock, not including waterproofs, and Island Green men's shirts down to just £20, reduced from £34.99!
Pop in to try any item on, but please make sure I am around as I do have one or two lessons booked in during the day where I have no cover in the shop at the moment!

Which brands will come out on top? As talked about last week, all our brands have been selling well of late, but most popular is Mizuno in the Iron category and TaylorMade in the Wood category.
With some new releases by both of the above brands and some others this Autumn, it'll be interesting to see which brands top each leaderboard come the end of the year! |

Saturday saw a very successful Invitation Day with a better than expected entry of 58 pairs! Just a reminder that Darryl did the no-lose bet on the 8th. All members monies will be applied to accounts, non-members will be on a list for them to pop in to use.

Popov and DJ in leagues of their own There are sporting shocks, and then there’s the World No. 304 winning a Major! Germany’s Sophia Popov finished on -7 at Royal Troon to claim victory at the AIG Women’s Open. Despite having never won on the LPGA or Ladies European Tour before, the 27-year-old fought off challenges from stars like World No. 8 Minjee Lee and seven-time Major Champion Inbee Park. Meanwhile, on the PGA Tour, Dustin Johnson won The Northern Trust, the first FedEx Cup playoff event, by shooting a staggering -30. That ended up being an 11-stroke victory, which raises the age-old question of what’s more entertaining:
An all-out birdie fest or tough, battling golf? Shooting these sort of scores requires immense confidence in your game. So, if there's a part of yours that you're particularly struggling with, send us a message below and we'll be happy to help.
