A busy time for Darryl!
Well what a busy 10 days it's been! Especially for Darryl, as I had the 10 days off!
He says he has never been so busy at work in all his time in the trade, and a great job he has done to juggle coaching, fitting, shop time, competition entries, regripping, and trying to get through the melee created as we moved to BRS for booking tee times.
As I type this on Monday ready to be sent out, I have had around 15 visits or calls to try to sort issues. We are as new to it as you guys so we don't have all the answers. It is a case of being patient as we get used to it, and rest assured Darryl and myself will do our very best to iron out any issues!
Mainly, my time away was spent at home doing jobs in the house, but I did get to spend two days in Lichfield, a lovely city with the only cathedral which has three spires in the UK! We also walked some of the Birmingham Canal, a lovely spot to visit just off New Street station in the city centre.
Shop News
Shop-wise I am delighted with Darryl's efforts to keep the till ringing, he really is such an asset to the club fitting department. Special thanks also to Nottingham Nigel for covering the shop so Darryl could continue his fitting and coaching duties whilst I was away.
Lastly, we have just had some Men's Under Armour Shorts come into stock, and I know several of you were asking after shorts, price £50 per pair.

The race for the Championship hots up!
Albion lost on Friday to give Brentford a sniff of second spot at the weekend, but then Brentford got cold as well losing to Stoke, so as we stand Albion will follow Leeds to the automatic promotion spot if they beat QPR on Wednesday. Mind you the way they are not scoring so freely is a concern.
We have an all London FA cup final too to report and look forward to, after Arsenal shocked Man City and Chelsea likewise against Man United!

Tiger returns! Tiger Woods made his return to golf at The Memorial Tournament, playing at a Jack Nicklaus-designed course alongside Rory McIlroy and Brooks Koepka. That’s pretty cool! Muirfield Village, better known as Jack’s Place, proved to be a brutal beast. 3-over was enough to make the cut and even-par enough for a share of 10th, with even the world’s best notching double and triple bogeys. Jon Rahm became just the second Spaniard in history, behind Seve Ballesteros, to become World No.1 after a convincing victory in Ohio. Despite going +5 on Sunday’s back-nine, Rahm cruised to a three-stroke win. Rahm’s final score of -9 will not jump off the page of PGA Tour winners, but numbers could never tell the story of just how much Jack’s Place demanded.
