Alexander claims Moody Cup

The Moody Cup took place last Saturday with 111 entries. Kevin Alexander took the honours with a fantastic 67. Craig Coutts continues his impressive form with a fine 68. Nigel Corbitt also shot another great score of 69, tieing with Jack Evans.

This weekend it's the Seddon Cup which is a stableford so dont miss-out,

Keeping you up to date

The Premier League and Championship are back which is great, the only thing is most of the games have been an anticlimax. We have to give everyone a chance to get back to full speed really but one thing that's been great is seeing Arsenal showing fine form in there first two games back. Man Utd got a lucky point at the World's best ground, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (haha). Brighton did there survival chances the world of good with a fantastic come back against Arsenal.

In The Championship, West Brom went back to the summit with a bore draw against Birmingham, whilst Leeds did there usual losing to Cardiff, opening the door to them being caught in the automatic places.

Golf in the spotlight

Like many things in life, it can take a little while to get ‘match sharp’ on the golf course. Yes, we can practice as much as we like on the range or in our living rooms, but taking on the course when every shot counts is a different beast altogether.

Many of us will know this only too well after our first few rounds post-lockdown!

However, it seems as though the PGA Tour players didn’t get the memo. The second week back saw 63s, 64s and 65s in abundance, with Webb Simpson coming out on top with a 22-under-par total through the four rounds at Harbour Town Golf Links – what a golf course by the way.
