Our stance on COVID-19
Well all thoughts are being dominated by the COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent fallout and ongoing changes to plans moving forward!
The club has responded in the proper manner and have the management all working together, the latest advice is below!
"In light of the developing situation with the COVID-19 outbreak, we would like to reassure you that we are following official guidance provided by the Government and Public Health England on how best to monitor and deal with the pandemic. The Chairman, Welfare Officer and Management Team are meeting on a regular basis to update the Club plan in line with the said guidance.
It is important that all our members, visitors and staff work together by following the advice of qualified professionals to control the spread of the infection. We all have a role to play in this and it is imperative that, amongst the other guidelines, all visitors to the club follow good hand hygiene.
As advised by England Golf we will continue to take our lead from the government and public health authorities when it comes to safeguarding our club, members, visitors and staff and will offer practical and necessary steps to ensure the health and wellbeing of all."

Golf Experience and Taster Sessions
We are organising bespoke golf experience and taster sessions for organisations, groups or societies for up to twenty-four people. The sessions are designed to introduce potential new golfers to the game. If you are aware of any groups or organisations who might be interested, please pass their details onto Gill Kapka. The sessions will include a coaching clinic and an opportunity to 'have a go' on the course, followed by refreshments in the clubhouse. At the same time, golfers can enjoy nine holes of golf before joining their colleagues in the clubhouse. All participants will receive follow-on vouchers in the form of lessons or membership. The cost is £10 and is all-inclusive.

A limited sport report
No sport elsewhere to report, so pride of place in the limited sport must go to John Gale’s Vice Captain team beating PJ Riley’s Captain team 7 points to 6 on Saturday.
PJ managed to beat Galey and Nigel Corbett, aided by his secret weapon Paul Gibbons though!

Well fairly short and sweet as we bat on to organise for any shutdowns, let’s hope we can keep playing, but most importantly stay safe and protect and help any vulnerable Family, Neighbours and Friends moving forwards. |
If you’re considering a new driver, it’s usually because you’re either missing too many fairways or your current one isn’t going as far as you’d like. You’re certainly not alone if you fit into this bracket, so why not join many other golfers by coming down to Cleethorpes Golf Club and booking in for a driver fitting with one of the team? |
The perfect scenario This illustration is ideal for the majority of us: a new driver that goes further and with a tighter dispersion than our current one. However, with so many options available, it’s often a tricky puzzle of which shaft, loft and head combination performs best in YOUR hands that needs solving. Luckily, this is an area that we are professionally trained in! We have plenty of options in-store for you to try, including the awesome Mizuno ST200 driver that should be at the top of your list. Call us on 01472 816110, ext 1 to book in with the team. | |
