Hi members one and all, Paul and Alex are out of the shop today, so you will have to put up with the oldest of the three amigos.

It’s all been a bit slow this week due to the poor weather, the lads have done a great job in keeping the course open for the vast majority of the time all be it a shorter version.

Nothing to report on the results front I’m afraid the Comp on Saturday only had 2 entries so had to be cancelled. The Ladies also had a quiet Wednesday.

Fingers crossed the course will be fit to allow the wrong course comp to go ahead on the 29th November, with the Turkey Trot next up on December 6th.

Wednesday 19 November, 2014 - 13 hole Hidden Partners Stableford Comp

Cleethorpes Ladies experienced great weather this week again for their Hidden Partners Stableford Competition and some great partnerships were drawn out of the bag. 1. Chris Sherburn and Liz Stones with 45 points and they took it on a countback from 2. Christina Reid and Gill Woodward also with 45 points, 3. Elaine Barker and Margaret Quantrill with 44 points and they took on a count back from 4. Chris Holden and Janet Todd also with 44 points.

December is racing up with, dare I say it, Christmas just around the corner. We have some great present ideas in the shop; lined sweaters, fleeces, waterproofs, just to name a few, or what about a winter pack of lessons great value at 10 for £100.

On the football front the Liverpool fans have gone a bit quiet recently after the gloating at the expense of the mighty Red Devils last season, having said that United look like they’re heading for another very average season. The Baggies have hit a rough patch, Paul's off to see them at Hull in a couple of weeks so we’ll see if they can turn the tide.
