England Golf Insurance update... Some members have experienced problems when trying to register online for their golf insurance. We have been in touch with England Golf who have come back with the following advice: “There has been some unknown issues with the activation process for the England Golf website, which our I.T team are aware of and working to resolve. We currently have a high volume of email enquiries regarding these issues, which we’re working to resolve. You may want to ask your members who are struggling to activate their accounts to send us an email, stating their full name, home golf club & handicap and the error message they’re receiving.” So, if you are having problems with activating your insurance please email England Golf as requested above using the email: members@englandgolf.org
Photographs of members & result of theft from men’s locker room The identity of the thief stealing from the men's locker room is now known. His membership has been terminated and all the evidence gathered has been passed onto the Police for them to investigate. In light of recent events: * A new part will be fitted to all lockers to ensure they are secure over the next few weeks. * To aid identification, starting with new member applications we will be adding members’ photographs to their profile page. We plan to roll this out across all members over time. We would encourage all members to add their photo to their profile page on the Club V1 app. This will link directly to our database. Alternatively we can take and upload photographs from the office. * The code to the men’s locker room has again been changed. Hopefully this is for the final time. The number can be obtained from the office, pro-shop or the bar. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but we are sure you will understand the reason for the numerous changes.
