A busy week... Its been a busy week for us last week, with Thursday seeing great weather for the Pro/Am.

The full run down of winning Pros was Adam Keogh (68), Dan Greenwood, Lee Cardy and Steve Bennett (69), Chris Pearson and Nigel Pearce (71).
The full run down of top 6 teams were;
Will Webster, Gav Mennell, Rob Logan & Paul Jenkinson = 123 Steve Bennett, Steve Evans, Murray Riggall & Andy Goodfellow = 124 Josh Trunkfield, Simon George, Jezz Waters & Shaun Lightley = 125 Dan Greenwood, Ray Crome, Dave Ingham & Paul Stenton = 126 Chris Pearson, Luke Anderson, Lawrence Barnes & Dave Allen = 127 B9 Paul Davies, Dave Reid, PJ Riley and Chris Hancock - 127 B9 (my team even though I played xxxx!) Thanks to starters Chris Warren and Dave Colvin, to Pam Welby and all her half way house gang, to Ray Crome for his wonderful support and all the sponsors on the day. Earn yourself some money It's always nice to get something for our old bits and bobs. Take your car for example, with many people now taking the opportunity to get money off a new car by part-exchanging their old car as part of the deal. Well, we're now running a brilliant offer with our friends at Motocaddy, which will see you get up to £60 back in cash (minimum return is £50) when you trade-in your old electric trolley whilst purchasing a new Motocaddy electric trolley in-store. |

If you’re an equipment junkie, there’s nothing quite like standing on the first tee clutching the latest driver – especially, with the marketing promise of faster ball speeds and greater distance firmly in your mind. The question is, should this be your number one priority with the big stick in hand? |
With the US Open taking place at Pebble Beach this week, one thing the world’s best will need in abundance is accuracy off the tee. Penal rough, fairway bunkers aplenty and the Pacific Ocean combine to create one of the hardest tests in golf. |
Introducing TaylorMade's M5/M6 drivers Two drivers that will be in lots of golfers' bags this week are these beauties from TaylorMade. As well as the impressive ball speeds and distance gains from its Speed Injection, there are two features on the M5 that will help tighten up your dispersion. First, Twist Face helps reduce any 'gear effect' that comes as a result of an off-centre strike. Combine this with the moveable weights in the M5's T-Track and we can set up your driver to fight any regular misses you might have. So, what are you waiting for? Come and have a chat to us in the shop and we can start you on your journey to better golf this summer. |
