Ladies Final

Our ladies team had an agenizing loss at Sleaford against Toft G.C. With the match tied on 2 matches each, it fell to Gill Kapka and Alison Fletcher to pick up the gauntlet and enter the fray of a play off. Unfortunately they lost on the 1st extra hole. However getting to the final in its self is a great feat, so well done to all the team members, you did the club proud.

Shop update

In the shop we have taken delivery of the new FootJoy winter stock comprising of wind tops, waterproofs and many more. Other brands such as Under Armour and PING are due in shortly, so pop in and have a browse at your leisure.

The new PING G400 woods and irons are going down a storm, because of this some customers have had to suffer a longer delay in getting the clubs than is normally the case, we apologise for this but I’m sure the clubs will be worth the wait.

Loft and lie checks are always available, these need checking on regular basis as the angles move over time. We are running a family open day on the 15th of October so if any member knows of a friend or neighbour who may be interested in taking up the game get them to give us a ring and get booked in.
