Hi one and all hope, I find you well. The football this week was somewhat better for the mighty reds of Manchester, I'm looking forward to a bit of banter with Mr Cox as he is a stalwart fan of Spurs. Elsewhere the Baggies were a bit unlucky against Chelsea, I can't say I'm looking forward to the game against them next week, might be my time to keep a low profile!




Alex's leaving evening which is on Friday the 17th December starting at 7pm in the Nott's everyone is welcome. 

Alex has been a great asset to the shop and club during his stay, so let's give him a great send-off. 


 

Things at the club are relatively quiet, what with the night's drawing in so quickly, were not far from the shortest day so it gets better from there on in. The course is holding up very well, Paul has only just got over his second day helping the lads clear the ditches, he said he has the utmost respect for just how hard the guys work, he came back into the shop and looked totally knackered to say the least. Fair play to him though I don't think you will see many other Pro's out there on the course helping out their clubs.

The office have asked me to mention that there are a few New Year's Eve tickets still available, I'm sure a great night is assured, with great food and great entertainment. Also don't forget Janine and the gang are doing Christmas meals right the way up to Christmas Eve, we all know how good the food is, so why not treat the family to that special outing. Just give Janine a ring to reserve a table.




Little to report on the results front, except to say once again well done to Pete Tingle and Dave Ellis on their great score of 60 in the winter league, and to our Captain Glen Wishart and Martyn Warren with a 63. Unfortunately Kev Doyle didn't feature in the winner's circle this week and loses the leaders jersey! Leaders overall after 2 rounds are P.J. Riley and G.Grantham with 16 points, with P.Frost and A.Spencer 2nd on 13 points. 

We have a competition this Saturday, 17 December  - The Christmas Jumper Stableford.
