Well a mild week of weather for the time of year to say the least meant the course was busy right through the week. With no wind on Saturday we saw some amazing scoring, aided by the good condition we find the course in right now. Indeed with all the long rough cut back and plenty of other tidying up going on, I feel the course is rapidly improving.
The Medal
As said some great playing conditions and Martin Thompson's better back 9 66 pipped great scores from Matty Barber and PJ Riley in Division One. Division Two saw a superb 64 by Roger Lockwood blow away the competition and Ian Blake had an impressive 65 to take Division Three. Best gross was won by Martin Warren with a superb 67.

Football wise, the Premiership is hotting up at the top, with Man City thrashing my boys to be top on goal difference, hotly chased by Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs and others. Grimsby got a good point under caretaker manager Dave Moore. England's cricketers got blown away by a spin ordeal in Bangladesh too.
