Paul on typing duty this week, back fresh from the Lake District where I had great weather on a walking holiday!
The boys were kept busy whilst I was away with new stock input. Pop in for a browse as we have Ladies and men's waterproof ranges from PING and ProQuip, as well as fleeces and lined sweaters. Also with Men's Under Armour and FootJoy ranges to go at, we feel we have a great selection to keep you golfing happy through the colder weather. Also in are woolly hats, mitts and winter gloves.
Don't forget (sorry to mention this so early!!) Christmas is now not that far away. As usual we will be operating our put by and wrapping services. We also offer vouchers for your family to come in and get, and any winter pack lesson vouchers purchased as a Christmas present can be used right through 2017. This offer is 10 lessons for £100. We will also be offering the 18 hole lithium battery trade in deal of £174 with an old battery.
Lastly look out for the upcoming Titleist and Srixon personalisation offers due out in the run up to Christmas.
Watch out for the new Titleist woods due out at the end of the month too!
The Medal on Saturday saw 97 players compete. Paul Stenton scored a fine 68 to win Division 1, and in the process get back down to 3! Darren Fuller won best gross with another sub-par round of 69. Division 2 saw Gary Radcliffe edge out fellow Yorkshireman Richard Lightowler with a better back 9 65. Lastly Division 3 saw Charles Roebuck prevail on 68. Don't forget the Men's Dinner is coming up on Friday 21st October, always a great night. The list is on the main notice board, and with optional black tie or lounge suit now there is no reason to not come along!
Also there is the Halloween bash on Sunday 30th October. Food is available from 4.30 and the firework display is at 6.30. Bring along friends and family too with pleasure.
Saturday 15th October President's putter
Tuesday 18th October senior Captain Vs Vice-Captain
Wednesday 19th October Ladies AGM and Invitation EWGA
Football wise England looked same old same old against Malta, but at least topped the group. The Mariners got a decent point away at Exeter to keep in touch with the play off places too. No Premiership last week, but my Baggie Boys entertain Tottenham at the weekend, so even a point would be good as Spurs look a class act.
