Hi everyone, hope you are all well. We have seen the course stay open for a whole week, I haven't been able to say that for some time, let's hope we have finally turned the corner, and sunny days await.
A great weekend of sport has passed by in a blur, what a game of cricket we were treated to on Sunday, poor Ben Stokes he won't get over that last over in a hurry, but England acquitted themselves really well, and it bodes well for the future of the limited over game in England.
Leicester march on relentlessly towards the premier league, 7 points clear now. Man Utd continue to win games despite their performances still leaving a lot to be desired.
Again very little to report on the results front, we ran a Pro Stableford on Saturday which was won by Mark Logan with 33 points winning on the back nine.

In the shop you again may have noticed we still are ticketless with regards to the stock. I did say last week that we had an expert in to sort it, but unfortunately despite his best efforts he had to call in an IT guru, who battled away on line for 5 hours before he too gave up the struggle, I've always said we should never have got rid of paper and pen!
The Under Armour range has at made an appearance, some lovely items await your perusal.

On a sad note I have to inform you that the club has lost two of its stalwart members, Eric Evans and Dr John Birch have both passed away. They were both true gentleman, and will be greatly missed by us all, our best wishes go to their respective wives Betty and Alma.
